The apartment is centrally located in the student district to the north of Copenhagen's famous walking street, Stroget. You can get to most places on foot. It comprises lovely, large, interconnecting rooms. s
Some of the furnishings have seen better days but overall it has loads of character. Reading previous emails, we were aware of noise emanating from the bar underneath. We came prepared: ear plugs. Nevertheless, we did hear smokers talking outside and music from the bar. It didn't bother us. Probably more of an issue in the summer. While we like the apartment, we found it incredibly dark. We moved lamps around but we all found it difficult to read except in the dining room. It could do with either more lights or more powerful light bulbs.
The kitchen was amazingly well equipped but the oven was filthy. My wife refused to use it after noticing bits of old pizza in it. It desperately needs to be cleaned professionally.
A really lovely apartment in a great area of Copenhagen. Although it was bitterly cold outside the apartment was always warm and had almost everything we needed (no hairdryer!).The 5A bus stops very close by and gets you to and from the airport easily as well as into town. Lots of amenities nearby too. We would love to return and hope to stay in this apartment again. Thanks for a great stay.
