this was a superb property that all 6 in our party really enjoyed. The Appartment is huge with an abundance of natural light and excellent views.Although it is on a main road we were not troubled by traffic noise at all. It's location is superb, being a 2 minute walk from the station and very Central for all other destinations. The property is very clean and extremely well furnished - a really lovely and relaxing space to watch tv, read or just 'chill'. The photo's on the website do not do justice to the size of the rooms at all. The kitchen is well stocked with equipment and there are plenty of local shops with-in a minute of walking out of the door - the Gourmet Market is a real treat and we often found ourselves shopping there and coming back to the appartment to prepare it rather than go out to a restaurant. All 6 of us had a very memorable stay and hope to be able to book the property again when we revisit. I would also add that Jan was extremely pleasant and helpful - despite us making him stand out in the cold for 20 minutes as we were late coming from the airport (Sorry again Jan). All in all a first class stay and highly recommmended.

As the apartment was on the third floor we were really upset that on arrival the lift was out of order and this remained the case during our 3 day stay. The apartment was a good size but could not believe we had to make our own beds up, being given a big bag with all the towels and laundry on arrival. The shower didn't work properly and the shower room had a damp smell, indeed the cleanliness of the apartment was poor in places. In one of the bedrooms the blinds only came part way down the windows. Location was ok but the entrance area is quite tired so considering the above a 2 star experience overall. Nice, quiet and homely apartment, really well placed to go walking anywhere and also well comunicated with the airport and the central station by metro or train.
Well equipped (although we missed a hairdryer).
It was easy to get on with Jan and the man who received us, who were very attentive and patient with all our delays and changes of arrival time and their explanations.
A pity that the lift were broken.

We had a wonderful week in Copenhagen in August 2011 staying at The King's Garden apartment at 137 Gothergade. The apartment itself was well-furnished and comfortable, a corner unit on the third floor. Two of the bedrooms faced outward to a side street, while the third faced a lovely inner courtyard. The apartment was bright and airy, with plentiful windows and spectacular views of Rosenberg Slot and Marmorkirken to the northeast. The Norreport Metro and Train Station was less than five minutes away by foot, and there were delightful restaurants, grocery stores, drug stores and coffee shops nearby. The pedestrian shopping district at the heart of the city is easily accessible from the apartment, as are all of the major attractions in the heart of the city. Most evenings, we walked from the apartment down Gothersgade to Nyhavn for dinner and/or drinks, and we also enjoyed heading west a couple of blocks to the string of urban lakes that mark the western end of the neighborhood. An exceptional location, and excellent value for money. AIC was helpful before and during our visit, and we would be happy to do business with them again should our travels take us to Copenhagen in the future. Our photo album of the trip, including shots taken in and from the apartment, along with restaurant and other tourist recommendations, is available at our Indie Albany website, here: http://indiealbany.com/2011/08/21/copenhagen/

A wonderful apartment in downtown Copenhagen. Quiet and serene with all the amenities you would need. The elevator is a plus too! Furnishings are top of the line and beds are comfortable. All the comforts of home to help you enjoy your stay in beautiful Copenhagen. I would definetly rent this place again on future trips to Denmark. Both my toddler and my in-laws enjoyed the place as well.

After staying in the Gothersgade apartment, I admit that I've been spoiled & will hesitate to ever stay in a hotel again for an extended holiday.

First off, the location of the apartment was great. The apartment is located right around the corner from the Norreport metro & train stations. It's also right across the street from the botanical gardens, which I'm sure is beautiful in the spring & summer and also just down the street from Rosenborg Slot. There are a lot of restaurants and shopping very close by.

The apartment itself was beautiful! The living room was huge and the dining room was perfect for hosting six people for Thanksgiving dinner. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one might need to cook a small to large meal. We ate almost every meal at the apartment, which was a tremendous cost savings. The bathroom was large, as were the bedrooms. There were a total of 4 of us staying at the apartment and it never felt cramped or crowded, in fact, the apartment is quite large. The wifi worked well and was very convenient and handy to have.

It snowed almost the entire duration of our holiday and the temperatures outside were extremely cold. It was wonderful to retreat back to the apartment where we were able to make hot tea, coffee and snuggle up on the coach while watching tv or a movie.

I also want to note that Jan was great. When our flight leaving CPH was canceled, he worked with us and let us stay in the apartment an extra night with short notice. It was a huge relief to not have to go through the hassle of locating alternate arrangements.

All in all, I would rate this apartment 5 stars out of 5. I found this experience to be better than most I've had at expensive hotels. It's a great and practical choice for an extended holiday of a week or longer.

The apartment is charming and has a perfect location within walking distance to central parts of CPH. It is spacy with plenty of room for all 6 of us who visited CPH for a pre christmas vacation. We felt at home the moment we walked in the door.

The place is well served by public transport, for instance can you travel directly to Kastrup airport within twenty minutes by metro. There is hardly any traffic on the closest roads, and thereby no traffic noise to be bothered by (as we feared before the trip).
